A PRAYER FOR WEEK 10
“Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.” (Ephesians 4:1-3)
Carl Jung said: “You are what you do, not what you say you’ll do!” Today we pray especially for Ministers of the Gospel, that:
– God will give you the grace to live lives worthy of His calling as Ministers of the Gospel of Christ: humble, gentle, patient, understanding and peaceful; – Your words and actions will not find fault but show love in practical ways through gentle correction and guidance; – You will seek to preserve spiritual harmony, especially among believers, irrespective of colour, tribe and tongue, so that people would see Christ in you.
ACTION: We are Christ’s representatives at such a time as this!
