CALL AND GLORIFY HIM

“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” (Psalm 50:15, NKJV)

How often do we call on God in the day of trouble, when we are faced with a challenge? Do we glorify Him when He delivers us or do we just move on with the next cry? I remember many years ago, as the Surulere Chapter (Lagos, Nigeria) of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI) was birthed and started off its weekly fellowships. I had very amazing miracles of God’s answer to prayers to share each week. I prayed this verse regularly and determined to share the testimony of God’s answers weekly.

God never failed me. It was such that sometimes when I decided to give others the opportunity to share their testimonies, as the time allotted to testimonies was limited, the Presidents of the Chapter at different times, one after another would most often add my name. They knew there was always something the Lord did for me that would encourage others.

The Lord has done so much for me that I cannot tell it all. How about you? We need to glorify God both in our closets and to encourage others. The word of our testimony is a weapon against the enemy. Our praise is a weapon. Let us use them.

ACTION: Determine to glorify God for each answered prayer, the little and the big things.

PRAYER: Lord, help me never to take your blessings for granted.
