OUR HELPER AND DELIVERER
“I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord.” (Psalm 40:1–3, ).

ACTION: It is time to pray in thanksgiving.
PRAYER: Thank you Father God, for hearing our cry over and over, again and again, even our unexpressed prayers. We stand on the solid Rock Jesus, never to sink. You are our Helper and Deliverer. May our songs of praise bring many souls to you, encourage trust in the weak and fearful, bring healing to the sick, and set the captives free.
For the sake of ten righteous people, the Lord would have spared Sodom and Gomorrah. Lord, we cry to you for mercy on Nigeria and other nations, for the sake of the righteous, who have been made righteous through faith in the saving grace and power in the blood of Jesus Christ, Amen.
