WHEN THE DAY COMES

“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Thank you Lord, Bright Morning Star, for the sunshine as I woke up this morning, Fountain of Life, you woke me up early this morning in time for the activities of the day.

Teacher, you taught me new and interesting meanings in the Word and in songs. Fountain of wisdom, you taught me how to do my work and assignments.

Way–maker, you showed me the way to go meandering through the traffic to get to my destinations.

Jehovah Jireh, you surrounded me with my family and provisions, filling me with joy.

Jehovah Elohim, you gave me strength to joyfully do my household chores today.

Jehovah Sabaoth, you shielded and protected me from the dangers of the day.

Jehovah Shalom, you gave me peace all around me.

Thank you, Lord, as you drew the sun back for the time of rest.

Thank you, Lord, for the mysteries of the day and night

Jehovah Rohi, Jesus my Shepherd, Please hold my hands through another day, and another, and another …..

Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent!

ACTION: Create time to pray daily. The best prayer is thanksgiving, praise and worship.

PRAYER: Lord, please make me more thankful.
