“And it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces. On the same day, the Lord made a covenant with Abram.” (Genesis 15: 17- 18)

“Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”                (John 8:12)

ACTION: Let us believe and trust Jesus the Light, be faithful and press on, walking in the light of His Word. Let us also walk in the truth of God’s covenant with Abraham, which is still applicable to us today: the covenants of protection, provision, great rewards and eternal life.

PRAYER: O God our Father, thank You for giving us the Holy Spirit as our guide to light our way, even as darkness is increasing upon the earth. May we be true children of the Light, disciples who project the radiance, illumination and revelation of Jesus Christ, in Jesus name, Amen. Jesus is the Light!
