“ Now it shall come to pass as He (Jesus) sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him“(Luke 24:30-31)

“So they rose up that very hour ….. And they told about the things that had happened on the road and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread.” (Luke 24:33-35)

ACTION: Meditate on the meaning of the Holy Communion to you.

PRAYER: Thank You, Lord Jesus, for the sacrament of the Holy Communion, and for giving us bread and wine as Your body and blood. Please may it be greater than just an act or memorial. May it cleanse and heal, opening our eyes to know You more and raise our fervency to share the gospel. May it also remind us of your love and sacrifice, as well as our heavenly banquet, in Jesus name, Amen. Jesus is the Bread of life!
