A PRAYER FOR WEEK 21

“Now it came to pass…. that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Judah, Elimelech, his wife Naomi and two sons, went to dwell in the country of Moab, Then he died. the sons took wives…Orpah and Ruth… Then…her sons also died.” (Ruth 1:1-5)

“The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ.. … Boaz begot Obed by Ruth” (Matthew 1:1-5)

The Roses pray for you and your loved ones that:

• you may always ask and follow God’s direction and not run away from difficult situations as Elimelech did, running from frying pan to fire;
• God will give you faithful and diligent family members like Ruth;
• God will use your positive and negative circumstances to accomplish His purpose as He used Ruth,who brought joy to Naomi and ended up in the genealogy of Jesus, in spite of the death of her husband and sons.

ACTION: Be willing to sacrifice for others.

And it came to pass! Jesus is the Lamb of God, worthy to open the seal!
