“And it came to pass, when she (Achsah) came to him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted from off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wilt thou? And she said unto him, Give me a blessing, for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And Caleb gave her the upper springs and the nether springs”. (Judges 1:13-15)

“You do not have what you want because you do not ask God for it. And when you ask, you do not receive it, because your motives are bad; you ask for things to use for your own pleasures.” (James 4: 2-3 GNT)

ACTION: Pray with thanksgiving, praise and worship. Acknowledge God’s gifts and blessings. Make specific requests humbly, boldly and with God-glorifying motives, not self-glorifying ones.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord God, our Provider. Please Holy Spirit, teach us and reveal God’s will and lead us to always align our requests to his will, in Jesus name, Amen. God is our Provider!
