“And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty.”(Exodus 3:21)

“But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favour  in the sight of the keeper of the prison.”(Genesis 39:21)

ACTION: Read Genesis 39 and meditate on the effects of God’s presence with us as with Joseph: the favour, success, prosperity, authority, blessings enjoyed by Joseph on the one hand. And on the other hand, the challenges, courage, determination and grace to stand firmly on God’s Word and overcome.

PRAYER: Father God, thank You for Your presence with us even in challenging times and places. Please grant us courage to resist temptations in all forms and at all times. May we always have favour with You and men, in Jesus name, Amen. God’s presence brings favour; favour brings blessings!
