POWER TO WIN!
“He [God] gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion.

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”   (Isaiah 40:29-31, NLT)

Wow! What a wonderful promise! When a storm is coming, all other birds seek shelter by hiding in the leaves and branches of trees. The eagle alone avoids the storm by flying above it.

God’s promise is that those who trust in Him will not run helplessly to find shelter in the storms of life but He will give them power to soar above the storms.

ACTION:  In the past year, what challenges have you been able to turn into stepping stones towards breaking new grounds?

PRAYER: Thank you Lord for endowing me with the power, gifts and talents to enable me fight to victory. Grant me the grace, Lord, to use these your provisions wisely to rise beyond the challenges of life. Amen.
